The Defence Ministry plans to develop sophisticated unmanned fighter jets equipped with a radar-evading stealth functions by 2020. In a report to the National Assembly, the Agency for Defense Development (ADD), affiliated with the ministry, said it has started developing radar-evading stealth technologies on its own in order to apply it to next generation fighter jets. The ADD also said it is developing artificial intelligence-based Unmanned Combat Ariel Vehicles (UCAV's), to deploy from state of the art aircraft, by 2020?
It is a totally unmanned weapons platform capable of delivering death to any battlefield the U.S. Air Force wants, this is the Nintendo war for real.

Then put the jigsaw together = Totally invisible to sound, infra red / radar & the naked eye, unmanned, laser equipped and possibly totally autonomous A.I. controlled weapons platforms. These things will probably be dropped off at the digital battlefield of the future by a hybrid scramjet / PDWE powered, plasma equipped mach 5 + stealth aircraft.

So forget pilots, because air dominance is about to take on a whole new meaning.
No pilot in there right mind will go up against these types of systems.
Oh well it does mean less potential causalities and a shed load of pilots looking for new jobs.
Lasers and platforms this capable, means leaving the man in the loop, will make no sense.
So pattern recognizing A.I. controlled stealth platforms, will patrol designated killing areas looking for anything that matches their target acquisition database.
Match the pattern, shoot the ray gun and the enemy is toast or blinded or just left in pain?
These new delivery systems coupled with nano, laser and rail gun type weaponry means that the US's force projection capabilities will be incredible.
But this, is the peace of the gun, the question is - who controls the gun.
Of course the average man, once again will be stuck in the middle hoping and praying,
that we will ALL be ok.
We need to wise up before it happens.
Because once one side gets them, then all sides (see Taranis) will want them, this is technology gone mad.
Face the facts, because the Terminator scenario, is not as sci-fi as you may think and could be much worse.
Proliferation is assured, especially if these technologies are introduced in a world run the way it is today.
So draw your own conclusions.
My conclusion is this, the US wants total battlefield dominance and they think these platforms will give them that. I can hear the procurement conversation, "hello, I'm general big bucks, calling on behalf of the NSC (National Scary Council), is that the Lockheed Skunk Works - yeah what can we do for you general - well what we want, is the fastest, highest flying, stealthiest plane you can build us, we need it to carry this payload and have this much range - sure thing general"

"Hi general - Hi - that will be a couple of billion dollars sir - yeah go right ahead just put it on the black budget"
The gravy train keeps rolling, as long as their is a perceived threat
Ever since the SR71 - Blackbird was cancelled, the US has had a replacement, that's for sure.
I can't stress enough, just how worrying this is.
Did anybody even watch the Matrix or Terminator you know what I mean, the human race marveled as we gave birth to A.I., as I said, this is peace but it is the peace of the gun and if A.I. systems end up controlling the gun, then what?
If you don't believe it, then read this:-
"I have long supported the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) by the U.S. military, and I believe that the potential applications for this technology in the area of homeland defense are quite compelling," Sen. John W. Warner (R-Va.), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said in a prepared statement.
You can imagine the terrorists of the future getting hold of these things, "hey lads, forget suicide missions, lets get these things to do the killing for us". On that note, check this a DIY cruise missiles?
All this makes sense to the powers that be, this stuff is being sold on the premise that it will prevent wars of the future or will make wars much less dangerous. Surgical strikes with directed energy weapons, is being seen as the new doctrine, for future war fighting.
The powers that be (arms manufacturers and governments etc) should take note, that this stuff may well lead to A.I. controlled killing machines that may end up being turned against the human race, by an uncontrolled MNN type system. If A.I. gets away from us, then by taking the man out of the loop, within a world proliferated with such weapons, could end up being the demise of us all. Of course it will never happen, in the same way Israel and North Korea, couldn't develop a nuclear capability?
The future moral and financial argument, sir, we ended up taking the man completely out the loop, these things are now completely autonomous, we just send these things out over designated global hot spots and let the machines do the killing for us, no guilt, no post traumatic stress problems, in fact we won with zero causalities and we didn't even leave home, sir. We even programmed them with face recognition and a list of targets. Great, did we lose any, yeah we managed to lose a couple sir, what you mean the other side now has these things, yes sir....
