Money

Money is the root of all evil?

On the other hand it was invented for practical reasons, i.e. 2 pigs for me goat sir became a little impractical as trade became more widespread etc. As civilisations began to rise then it became less a tool of trade and more a mechanism for social control. The question I like to ask is this, does money now control us more than we control it, ask the poor if you want a real answer to that question. Money can not be allowed to control the destiny of the human race, we have to start to understand what money is doing to us, as a species, it changes us. See the Demonic ape and then apply the same type of logic to the whole human race, except replace free food, with cash and you should see some similarities, I know I did. We will walk past a tramp, but if we see a person in the same position wearing a good suit, then most people would take the time out to see if that person is ok.

I watched TV the other night, all about the Ark Royal and the how the average crew member feels like their in prison and basically how crap it all was, followed immediately by an advert saying, join the navy... be all you can be?, come fight for our ideology and help kill people today. Judging by the dialog spoken by the average recruit, I doubt most of them even understand the word Ideology, just more young ignorant economically challenged victims of government spin and manipulation. Oh sorry don't mean to generalise, I bet they where all told the truth before they joined and all knew exactly what they where getting into.... because the government never lies? I wonder if these recruits understand the irony, here they are fighting for a system they openly criticise?

It bugs me to be part of a society that accepts this or part of a society that watches a black man turn himself white, dangle a baby over a balcony, then spend more money than I will ever have, in one afternoon and in a shop I would probably not even be allowed in, whilst talking about building a rollercoaster in his back garden and of course accused of being a you know what. I keep thinking if I go along with a society that allows these things, then am I the one who's mad or is it society?

Anyway what you believe in, can control you, organised religions have known this forever. So instilling people with a believe in money, can be seen as the most subtle of believe systems, because it doesn't require an intangible God. Get enough people to believe in something and once you control that something, well that's real power. Also by having the majority believe, then that majority, can keep any dissident minority in their place. Even the humanists and the atheists can be controlled by their believe in money, what a fantastic new religion?

So what do you believe in?

Money or People?

I don't know about you, but I am tired of having my destiny controlled via money or in my case the lack of it or more importantly having my destiny controlled by the rich.

Money = manipulation, so how cheaply can you be manipulated?

Money was invented by the human race for practical reasons, in light of nanotechnology, we may have to un-invent it. The people who wish to capitalise upon the introduction of nanotechnology (I believe) are the same types of people, who thought selling weapons to the public, was a good idea. In other words the industrialists and the capitalists, they have got to be made to understand what this technology really means for society, it can not be used just to further their own goals. This is not some new golden market ready to be tapped, this is different. This technology and the wealth it could generate for us all, should not be used so as benefit any one group / company or government. Capitalism has helped get society, technologically speaking, this far, but the capitalist ideology may have to be abandoned, that's if we ALL wish to live in harmony with this new technology. This means political and social change on a scale, that the human race has not seen since the beginning of the industrial age.

P.S. THE VALUE OF MONEY IS AN ILLUSION - DON'T BELIEVE ME?

THEN THAT'S ONLY BECAUSE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND FRACTIONAL RESERVE BANKING
