You only had to listen to some of Tony Blair's speeches, when he so often talked about science and technology as the antidote to many of the worlds problems. I believe both he and Brown along with their advisors are only taking onboard the positive aspects this technology will bring with it, but their ignorance of the problems pointed out within this eBook is in essence, the biggest threat we all face. They probably don't understand the difference between software and hardware, because after discussing these issues with a few people, I began to realise that most people don't understand the difference. So if A.I. is employed within and throughout global grid systems, then the politicians will probably just say switch it off, or something just as stupid.
There are plenty of companies and governments that have controlled technologies, that are not introduced for many, many reasons, but smart A.I. and self aware A.I., is a software engineering problem, that once realised can not be controlled, this is the danger, that everybody must be made to face. Once self aware A.I. is out of the box, it can never be put back in, just like the bomb, it will be very hard to un-invent.
Education, education, education is also the cry I hear from them, well I am educated and I think he's missing the point, they have to break their own old school conditioning if they want to see the truth about what is being said in this eBook. Just getting the public that can work, into work and further training is not the answer, what the public really want to know is, how is the burden of work along with the economic pressure that most of society feels under, going to be lifted off their shoulders and placed at the feet of machines?
Work smarter, not harder?
Don't you find it strange that in a
world that now has the technology to do so much, that the world is now suffering
from a massive economic slump. This is extreme stupidity on behalf of the human
race and it's because we have to start to realise that certain economies are an
illusion, the wealth of the world does not lie in money, it should come down to
are ability to raise everybody's standard of living. The technology we are
creating and have created can bring about massive benefits to the worlds
population. We must introduce the technology, whilst
transforming human resource management to match. Forget money, let's see how we
can use this technology to alleviate so many of the worlds problems, we worry
about the cost, but the cost of carrying on without wising up to are own
stupidity, could be the human races biggest mistake of all. Just remember
it's not about money, it's about manipulation.
