• Are you one of those people, who think that only biological life forms can develop self-awareness and become intelligent?
• The question you should ask yourself is what makes you self-aware?
• Then ask yourself why is it, that you consider yourself more self-aware than most insects or other animals?
• Or do you consider other creatures to be just as self-aware as yourself, just less intelligent?
• My main questions are these, what do you think makes you sentient and intelligent?

These questions led me to some of the conclusions derived in this eBook, the true nature of intelligence is still a mystery to even the most learned of us. I believe that our ability to map our environment and our relationship to it, is a key factor in our ability to become self-aware. We know or describe ourselves as being sentient and we also know what bio/chemical agents go to make up human physiology. So unless you are prepared to say that the human race is sentient because of some type of divine intervention, then that means that any system biological, silicon or other should be able to achieve sentience once its complexity or should I say, it's information processing ability reaches a certain level?
